Yellow Road Mediation was founded by Sigi Prinsloo, an internationally accredited civil and commercial mediator passionate about helping parties find a way where there seems to be no way.
A qualified attorney, Sigi developed an interest in commercial mediation while studying alternative dispute resolution and mediation at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg in 2006, whereafter she pursued mediation training and accreditation with a number of international and local industry bodies.
We worked with Sigi to help with conflict management training within our team. From the get go, Sigi created a safe, neutral environment that allowed open and honest dialogue. Her calm and empathetic approach immediately put the team at ease. And her ability to ask the right questions and guide the process meant we were able to quickly get to the root of key issues. The feedback shared with me was clear, practical, and constructive and gave me action points of how to better support the team. Most importantly, the team came out of the sessions feeling more confident and far better equipped to manage challenges. I would highly recommend Yellow Road Mediation.
Having worked in corporate environments before, Sigi brings lived experience of high pressure high emotion contexts, which I believe is crucial to a successful mediation.
